Welcome to Imatra!

Imatra has 4,000 accommodations within a 5 km radius. You can travel by train to the heart of the event. It’s easy to combine Power Cup with a family summer holiday. Imatra invites the whole family and friends to enjoy on site.

The Ukonniemi arena is the center of the event, between all the playing fields and the location near the Saimaa. Our strengths are the renowned hospitality and generosity of the region.

Registration

Tournaments pass (Thu-Sun): 180€
Extra night (Wed-Thu night): 20€

Each participant who comes to Power Cup will need a tournament pass. Redeeming the tournament pass is a prerequisite for participating in the tournament.

The regirstration is binding. In case of medical accident or such, the participation payment can be refunded. For this process a person must have an official statement from a legalized medical doctor.

For long distance travellers, we offer an accommodation for extra (Wed to Thu) night with an additional fee of 20 eur to the Tournament pass. It includes and extra night at school premises + Wed night snack + Thu breakfast.

 

 

The Power Cup is the world’s largest volleyball tournament for children and young people. Every year, over 850 teams and over 7,500 guests take part in this four-day sports event, which takes place every year around Finland in a new location. There are other figures on the size of the tournament. Over 4,000 games are played in 300 fields over four days, and over 50,000 will be warmed to participants during the tournament alone!

But everyone who has been to the Power Cup knows that the size of the tournament is not what makes the event unique. Just started a summer vacation, long bright days full of games, fun, side events, top artists, old and new friends…. everything you can hope for from a holiday and sporting event.
